Poker Tournament

ISTAT Foundation Golf Tournament

When: Sunday, 1 March
Time: Registration opens at 6:30. At 6:45 busses depart from JW Marriott lobby, 7:15 - 8:15 warm up and breakfast at the driving range, 8:30 shotgun start

Support the ISTAT Foundation in the annual ISTAT Foundation Golf Tournament at ISTAT Americas. Wolfdancer Golf Club is an award-winning course cut by the Lower Colorado River where you can test your skills across a mix of terrains. Lunch will follow the tourament and busses will return to the JW Marriott.

Foursome Requests: Foursome requests can be submitted Emily Kelley. The requestor MUST clear the foursome (or playing partners, no matter how many) with the other players prior to submitting the foursome. Foursome requests are subject to all members of a foursome being registered and the registration remains a first-come, first-served program. Golfers who do not choose to submit a foursome request will be randomly assigned.

Golf Hole Sponsorship: Support the ISTAT Foundation by sponsoring a golf hole at the tournament. The cost of the sponsorship is $1,000 and includes signage with the company logo at the golf hole. Add sponsorship through your registration. 

ISTAT Sporting Clays / Clay Target Shooting Outing

When: Sunday, 1 March
Time: Bus will depart from JW Marriott Lobby at 8:00 sharp. Coffee/tea/juice and very light snacks available in lobby at departure. Event starts at 9:15.

Cost: $198 per person (No Refunds)

The ISTAT Sporting Clays/Clay Target Shooting Event is back by popular demand!  The event will be held at the beautiful Copperhead Creek Shooting Club, located approximately one hour northwest of downtown Austin in Texas Hill Country.  Sporting Clays is often described as “golf with a shotgun”, with different shooting stands providing a variety of different clay targets for participants.  Beginners and “never-evers” who have never shot a gun are strongly encouraged to come out, with instructors available at all times and a fun, non-threatening and safe environment for everyone. No experience is necessary – shooters of all skill levels are welcome!

Upon arrival at the Club, following in introduction and safety briefing, we will divide into small groups of shooters, with a dedicated instructor for each group at all times. Loaner guns and all safety equipment (glasses and ear protection) will be provided and are included in the cost. Cost of the event includes 50 rounds of shooting, all necessary equipment, grab and go continental breakfast, a Texas BBQ lunch and snacks at the Club, and bus transportation to and from the facility. You are welcome to bring your own shotgun if you wish (you are solely responsible for complying with all relevant laws and regulations). Optional additional shooting (clays, pistol, rifle) is available after lunch at your own expense (a late bus will be provided and is included in the price).

Austin BBQ and Brew Tour

When: Sunday, 1 March
Time: 10:30 pick up, 14:30 drop off
Cost: $237 per person, includes guides, gratuity, (3) beers per person, (2) bbq tastings, and transportation 

Austin has dozens of BBQ joints ranging from new food trucks to long-established downtown restaurants. The city also has 18 licensed breweries, many producing award-winning brews of national and international acclaim. This tour provides the best of both. This combination detour is a dream come true for every meat-lover and beer enthusiast!

ISTAT Appraising – An Introduction

As a core program of ISTAT, the Appraisers Program has been providing value and resources to members and the global aviation community for over 20 years. This complimentary session will feature an inside look into the ISTAT Appraisers Program, aircraft appraisal fundamentals and steps to becoming an appraiser. Session topics include:

  • The ISTAT Appraisers Program and introduction to the handbook and code of ethics
  • Types of aircraft appraisals and definitions
  • Becoming an appraiser – the requirements, process and examinations
