Shanghai has a rich history that spans over two thousand years, and its French Quarter plays an integral role. During the French Concession Tour, participants will see many of the city's most picturesque colonial mansions, parks, hotels, and town houses, and learn how the Opium Wars and Taping Rebellion shaped Shanghai’s history.

After marveling at the European style villas and buildings from the 20th century, participants will enjoy lunch at M on the Bund –a fine dining restaurant that serves sweeping views of the Bund and classic dishes like crispy suckling pig, leg of lamb and fresh baked bread.
