EFW Conversion Facility Tour

Tour start times: 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00
Tour duration: 45-60 minutes
EFW is pleased to invite participants of the ISTAT Freighter Forum to visit its main conversion facility in Dresden. EFW is the center of excellence for freighter conversions and a driver of the Airbus freighter family. The tour will be a great opportunity to gain insight into the depth of the A330P2F process. Participants will walk through a converted aircraft and see the different steps of the conversion in two hangars. If you are interested in learning more about EFW's conversion process and products, you are welcome to join the tour.

Dresden City Tour

Explore the beautiful and historic city of Dresden with fellow ISTAT Freighter Forum delegates. Departing from the Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski, the tour begins with lunch at Kutscherschänke, a rustic tavern serving a typical, local lunch of fresh German cuisine. After lunch, enjoy a guided walking tour through well-known sights such as the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger, the Church of our Lady, the Court Church, the Brühl’s Terrace, Hunter’s Lodge, Royal Palace and the Town Hall. Then, cast off at the Terrassenufer in Dresden’s Old Town and enjoy a leisurely cruise upriver to Loschwitz Bridge in Blasewitz. Admire impressive views of Dresden and its historical scenery along the Elbe River. View the old town, Elbe bridges, romantic Elbe castles, vineyards and impressive villas.
