Spice Market and Bosphorus Cruise

Join us for a history-rich tour of an Istanbul spice market, built in 1664 as a part of the Yeni Mosque located nearby. This spice market, named the Egyptian Bazaar, originally sold spices and herbs from Egypt. In addition to the spice market tour, delegates will also have the opportunity to take in stunning coastal views during a cruise along the Bosphorus, a narrow strait between Europe and Asia that brings together the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara. This excursion will be followed by lunch at the Armada Terrace Restaurant for delicious food and refreshing drinks.

Calling all ISTAT foodies! Attend a walking tour along one of the most famous pedestrian streets—Istiklal Avenue—during your stay in Istanbul. Istiklal Avenue is home to bustling boutiques, art galleries, theaters, cafes, pubs, restaurants, live music and Turkish history. During this walking tour, guests will have the opportunity to sample famous local delicacies, such as kokorec, stuffed mussels, Turkish delights, pitas, Turkish coffee and more!
